The 4 hr ‘D’ Cells in the Yuasa series of NiCd batteries for lighting applications meet EN 60285 Approval making them suitable for ‘emergency’ lighting installation where high temperatures might be expected.
Within the high temperatures range there is a wide permutation of options covering Terminals, Pack arrangements, End caps, Fitting plates and heads. The full range of Yuasa NiCd Cells includes C & Sub C Cells with power availability across the standard and high temperature series ranging from 100 Ma to 7500 Ma.
The scope of EN 60285 is an International Standard that specifies tests and requirements for sealed nickel-cadmium cylindrical rechargeable single cells, suitable for use in any orientation. Specific tests and requirements for cells intended for use in permanent charge at elevated temperatures are also included. |
